Introducing the BoardPole
One of the downsides of snowboarding is hitting a flat run out without enough speed, having to take your back foot out of its binding, paddle to the next crest and secure your boot back in its binding. Of course, while you’re paddling and putting your board back on, the skiers who have two poles pass you by. With BoardPole, you can join the skiers and just keep moving. When you see a flat spot ahead, extend BoardPole and use it to maintain adequate speed. BoardPole is compact so that you can carry it while you board, slip it into a leg pouch or snap it into a holster when not in use.
There are three other uses for BoardPole while snowboarding. The first is that it can be used to lift yourself from a kneeling position to a standing position. Second, when you stop on an angled slope, you can lean forward on the BoardPole to provide a comfortable resting position. Lastly, if you get stuck in deep snow, BoardPole can be used to leverage your position out of trouble.
